Even though the idea of doing another film together came from Kareena, Aamir is so convinced of their pairing that he even wants to direct the film himself.
"Bebo has been asking me to direct her in a romantic film ... and I am definitely contemplating it," Aamir told TOI.
However, Aamir isn't rushing into the new project as he is busy with 3 Idiots.
"I am a one film at a time kind of guy," says Aamir.
Kareena says she is pushing Aamir to move on to the next project without delay.
"Aamir takes a long time to make up his mind about projects. I keep telling him that by the time he decides to make this romantic film with me, my niece Samaira will be ready for stardom."
Rajkumar Hirani helmed and Vidhu Vinod Chopra production's 3 Idiots is due in theaters on December 25.
