17 Oct 2007 (Sawf News) - Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, celebrity designer Randolph Duke studied classical piano from the University of Nevada Las Vegas before joining The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles.

He started his professional career by designing swimwear for Anne Cole of California followed by designing for Gottex in New York.

In 1987 he branched out to sportswear and started his own line selling through his self owned retail store in Manhattan's Upper West Side.

In 1996 Duke helped resurrection of HALSTON, the most influential name in American fashion. This helped Duke establish himself as red carpet haute couture star designer.

His stint at HALSTON was followed by launch of RANDOLPHDUKE, a couture evening collection.

The long list of A-Lister celebrities who have walked the red carpet in Randolph creations include Angelina Jolie, Hillary Swank, Marcia Gay Harden, Kim Basinger, Minnie Driver, Geena Davis, Jennifer Lopez, Sharon Stone, Charlize Theron, Celine Dion, Mariah Crey, Jennifer Aniston, Britney Spears, Debra Messing.

Los Angeles resident, Duke, makes sure masses do not feel left out as he does a $25million annual business on Home Shopping Network (HSN).

This October 14 Randolph made a comeback to the runway after a gap of 7 years. He showed his "The Living Earth" show of 73 numbers during the Mercedes-Benz LA Fashion Week Spring 2008 on the Main Stage at Smashbox Studios, Culver City, CA.

The collection, most of which was wearable pieces, included daywear dresses as well as flowy red carpet worthy evening gowns. Couple of gowns had sheer tops revealing it all underneath but one of the completely sheer tops exposed model's bare breast leaving nothing to imagination.

Seated on the front row were Smashbox founder Davis Factor, Natalie Zea, Tamika Ray and Kelly Carlson.
