19 February 2008 (Sawf News) – Designer Rocco Barocco showed his collection at Milan Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2008-09, February 16.
Italy's beloved fashion designer Rocco Barocco’s creations range from ready-to-wear to elegant eveningwear. Born in 1944 in Italy, Barocco grew up in Ischia, where he got his inspiration as a young man working at his first job at a fashionable boutique, Filippo.
He started his career as a fashion designer in the 1960s in Rome working with Monsier Giles. In 1968 Barocco launched his own line of fashion and gained success rapidly as he was already known for his styles. His Fashion House is located at Piazza di Spagna 81, Rome, Italy.
Ursula Andress, Countess Claretta Agusta, Claudia Cardinale, Laura Antonelli and Liza Minelli are among many others who wear his designs. His designs are exported to France, Japan, and the United States.
Barocco’s line of products also includes jeans, knitwear, ready-to-wear, scarves, fashion accessories, leather wallets, leather bags, perfumes, and linens.
