Late last month, Lindsay Lohan, 20, was rushed to a private hospital, after becoming overheated and dehydrated on the sets of her new film Georgia Rule. While Lindsay attributed the overheating to the California heat the producers of Gerogia Rule, aware of Lindsay's proclivity for hard partying, were not impressed and hand delivered a scathing letter ticking her off for unprofessional conduct.

With Lindsay's heavy drinking and hard partying beginning to take an inevitable toll on her professional career boyfriend Harry Morton, the son of Hard Rock Cafe owner billionaire Peter Morton, has stepped in to help Lindsay get hold of herself.

Morton who accompanies Lindsay during her partying in LA, and is himself inclined to stay sober, makes sure Lindsay stays away from alcohol.

Page Six quotes a source as saying, "Harry has told her not to drink so much and is trying to calm her down"

Samantha Ronson, another close and sober friend, is also doing her bit. Thanks to their efforts Lohan stayed sober during Entertainment Weekly's pre-Emmy party on Saturday night.

"She tried to order a drink, but they carded her . . . she was the last to leave the party," said the Page Six source.

Lohan, a constant fixture in celebrity parties, was scheduled to attend the MTV Video Music Awards festivities this week but decided to abstain. She told friends, "I don't need to be there!"

In an interview for the July edition of Harper's Bazaar magazine, Lindsay had expressed her frustration at being labeled a party girl, "I hate the term party girl--I hate it. I'm in this career for the longevity of it, not just for doing everything too fast and then running out of steam."
