Washington, Sept 7: She’s best known for her role as lifeguard CJ Parker on the hit TV show ‘Baywatch’, but it seems that it was not Pamela Anderson’s acting abilities that landed her the role, but her breasts.

Lead actor David Hasselhoff reveals in his new autobiography “Making Waves” that he had hired the blonde bombshell because she mesmerized the producers with her breasts.

"Pamela was wearing a halter top and skirt. When we asked her to read a page of the script, she stood up, stripped off her top and a skirt to reveal a swimsuit underneath. The guys couldn't take their eyes off her breasts," Contactmusic quoted him, as stating in the book.

Hasselhoff also recalls that besides having a killer body that captured every male’s attention, her audition also showed that she had a charming and funny side – something that the producers loved.

The result, Hasselhoff reveals was a contract for Anderson.

"I said, 'Put a camera on her.' Pamela proceeded to read her lines and was so charming and funny - and so absurdly beautiful - that it was no contest. Everybody wanted her, so I said, 'Okay, she's in,'" he added. (ANI)
