SYDNEY (AFP) - Yellow Wiggle Greg Page, 34, pulled out of their US tour in June due to fainting spells and lethargy, but with another tour starting, he had to be replaced after tests failed to identify his ailment, manager Paul Field said Wednesday.

"Greg's condition is that he is fairly tired and he's had some fainting episodes. He's able to walk around and do stuff but he's literally not fit enough to tour," he said.

Page was simply not able to perform the rigorous routines central to a Wiggles stage show, Field said.

"It is a pretty full-on workout, the Wiggles shows. You need to be 100 percent fit and he's not," Field said, adding that tests would continue.

Understudy Sam Moran was to replace Page for the new US tour, he said.

"It is frustrating for Greg and his family," Field said.

"It is not something that we can put a time limit on."

When the US tour finished, the Wiggles, who came together 15 years ago, would return to Australia to peform their "Race To The Rainbow" stage show.
