© AFP/POOL/FileLondon, May 22 (ANI): Daniel Craig has been roped in to play a fading Hollywood star in Baillie Walsh's Flashbacks of a Fool.
The 007 star, who got rave reviews for his act as Bond in Casino Royale, has joined Helen McCrory, Olivia Williams and Emilia Fox in the film.
Flashbacks of a Fool details the story of a self-gratifying British actor whose Hollywood career begins to collapse in his 40s.
The death of his best friend from his English seaside childhood makes him go home for the funeral, and prompts flashbacks of his teenage experiences, including the tragedy that forced him to look for a new life in the US.
The filming is scheduled to start later this month in South Africa and London.
The movie marks the movie writing and directing debut for Walsh. (ANI)
