The UK newspaper, Sun reported that Liz Hurley laughed off reports that she is all set to wed business tycoon Arun Nayer. Showing her hand, she said, 'Look at my hand - no diamonds. We haven't even got engaged. We're not getting ready for the big day yet.'

During the past one year there have been sporadic media reports of a Hurley and Nayer wedding in India. In June this year Mirror, a UK paper, had reported that the 40 year old model had asked her friends to reserve a month for her lavish wedding.

Nayer was officially divorced from his first wife Italian model Valentina Pedroni earlier this year. It was reported that the divorce was rushed through an English court. Valentina accepted a payout of UK sterling pounds 7, 00,000 in a settlement before she signed the divorce decree in London. The divorce proceedings were shrouded in secrecy to avoid publicity and any resulting complications. The two had been locked in a bitter court battle for years so there was speculation that Nayer had reluctantly agreed to a heavy payout just to be free to marry Hurley.

News of his divorce led to media speculation that Hurley was at last free to marry her Indian beau. However, the tone of Hurley’s denial suggests that not all is well. When asked if she hoped to unwrap a diamond from tycoon Nayer this Christmas, the stunning star replied; "No, I've asked for a herd of cows."
