Leatherheads is a screwball comedy about the origins of the NFL. George Clooney plays the coach of a wannabe pro football team in the 1920s while the Office's John Krasinski plays a World War I hero who is the star player - and both fight for Renee's character's attention.
The film produced and directed by George Clooney also stars Jonathan Pryce, Stephen Root, Wayne Duvall and Peter Gerety.
Production of the film began on February 12, 2007 at locations in upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina. The main filming took place in Ware Shoals High School.
The film was completed in May 2007 and the original release date was to be in December 2007.
The film rated PG-13 is now due for release on April 4.
