November 14, 2008, (Sawf News) - Clint Eastwood is in talks with DreamWorks to direct the supernatural thriller Hereafter for the company led by Steven Spielberg and Stacey Snider.

The film, reported to be in the vein of The Sixth Sense, has been scripted by Peter Morgan (The Queen, The Last King of Scotland, The Other Boleyn Girl) and will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, reports Variety.

Eastwood has earlier directed Flags of Our Fathers (2006) and Letters From Iwo Jima (2006) for Spielberg.

His films - The Changeling (2008) and Gran Torino (2008) - are expected to be in contention for awards this year.
