Jolie's performance in Changeling won her a Best Actress nomination along with Cate Blanchett (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Kate Beckinsale (Nothing But the Truth), Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Melissa Leo (Frozen River) and Meryl Streep (Doubt).
Pitt is in the field for Best Actor Award for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button along with Clint Eastwood (Gran Torino), Richard Jenkins (The Visitor), Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon), Sean Penn (Milk) and Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler).
Winners will be revealed at the 14th annual Critics' Choice Awards ceremony on January 8, 2009 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, broadcast live on VH1 Television Network.
