All proceeds from the invitation-only event hosted by the Recording Industry Association of America will go directly to Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger-relief organization.
"We are thrilled to have Rihanna's participation in the inauguration charity ball," says Feeding America president and CEO Vicki Escarra.
Rihanna will be joining other celebrities, including Oprah and Diddy, who plan to be in Washington for the inauguration festivities.
Rihanna, 20, and boyfriend Chris Brown, 19, appeared on French reality show Star Academy on Friday in Paris, France.
