December 23, 2008, (Sawf News) - James Gray written and directed romantic drama, Two Lovers, stars acting powerhouses Joaquin Phoenix and Gwyneth Paltrow.
The 2929 Productions film is due in theaters on January 9, 2009.
The film premiered in competition at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival in May. This film is Gray's third to enter the competition at Cannes.
The film set in suburban Brooklyn, New York, is the story of a bachelor, Leonard Kraditor (Phoenix) who is good looking but a troubled young man. He lives with his parents. He comes across two women at the same time but is torn between the family friend, Sandra (Vinessa Shaw) his parents wish he would marry and his beautiful but volatile new neighbor, Michelle (Paltrow).
