Pitt was pitched against Christian Bale and Mark Wahlberg in the Favorite Leading Man category.
Jolie was nominated in two categories: Favorite Female Movie Star along with Reese Witherspoon and Keira Knightley; and Favorite Female Action Star along with Anne Hathaway and Cate Blanchett.
Reese Witherspoon got the nod over Jolie and Knightley as favorite female movie star.
Both Pitt and Jolie were not present to accept their awards.
