March 13, 2009, (Sawf News) - Freida Pinto has been asked to audition for the next Bond film which is likely to be helmed by her Slumdog Millionaire boss, Danny Boyle.
Freida, 24, is reported to be favored by Bond's executive producer Barbara Broccoli and caught the eye of the franchise producers during the casting of Quantum of Solace (2008) that introduced Daniel Craig as the British super spy for the first time.
"Freida came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum Of Solace. She was too young at the time to play a love interest for a secret agent. But she is ready now," a source told the Sun.
"She has blossomed into an incredibly stunning young woman and would look perfect on Daniel Craig's arm," the source added.
"Danny Boyle is favorite to take the helm of the next movie, which would increase Freida's chances of a starring role."
Freida recently bagged a role in a Woody Allen helmed untitled project headlining Anthony Hopkins, Josh Brolin and Naomi Watts.
The Mumbai based model-turned-actress, who is relocating to the US, is represented by Creative Artists Agency (CAA) who have been screening offers to her since she signed up with them in November.
