March 24, 2009, (Sawf News) - Britney Spears will take Circus Down Under later this year, her first ever tour of Australia, reports Australian News.

"All the promoters are vying for it, but the bottom line is she really wants to come here and she really wants to come here this year," Denis Handlin of Sony Australia told the paper. "I think the promoters are battling it out at the moment."

After a tentative start in New Orleans on March 3, Britney has gained confidence and delighted her fans and critics.

"She was amazing and she looked like she was having a blast the entire time," one fan told Access. "I haven't seen the spark that she had last night in a very long time! The 'it factor' that she lost is totally back."

The North American leg of the Circus tour ends on May 5 with a newly added performance at Bell Center in Montreal, Canada.

The tour then moves to England with performances at the O2 Arena on June 3, 4, 6, 7, 10, 11, 13, and 14, followed by another performance at Men Arena in Manchester on June 17.
