"It's been lucky for me to play parts that relate to me," Cyrus said at a press conference in response to a question from a fan on her plans for this year. "But this role doesn't at all. I may have issues, but not as bad as this chick. I'm happy to play someone that's out there."
The 16-year-old star, was at the press conference to promote her film, Hannah Montana: The Movie, along with her father, Billy Ray, and three other costars.
Hannah Montana: The Movie was partly shot in Tennessee (Columbia, Nashville, Franklin High School) and Miley told reporters that she longs to go back there.
Cyrus, who was born in Franklin, Tenn., and grew up on her family's farm outside of Nashville says, "I wish I had more time."
"That was the longest I had been back since I left. I am really hoping to move back there at some point. Filming really made me miss home."
