April 15, 2009, (Sawf News) - Rihanna, who has already resumed recording her new album in a studio in Santa Monica, will return to stage with a gig in the United Arab Emirates on May 28.
The Good Girl Gone Bad singer postponed her sold out concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, after she was assaulted by boyfriend Chris Brown on February 8.
Bringing the Barbadian singer back to stage is Dubai-based Vibe Events Management, which is thrilled with the opportunity to bring Rihanna to the Emirates.
“It will be the best concert the region has ever seen and we will stop at nothing,” Yassin Matbouly, the company’s managing director, told the UAE’s Gulf News. “Unlike some other stars who perform in the country, Rihanna’s star is burning bright at the moment.”
A detailed 38-page agreement between Rihanna’s rep and Vibe Events delves into specifics such as accommodating her entourage of 80 people, even going into details such as providing a blueberry-scented candle, three whole lemons and pink bubblegum in her hotel room.
"We want everything to be perfect,” Matbouly said, adding: “and if the specifics of the rider are anything to go by, she is planning a spectacular show.”
