May 08, 2009, (Sawf News) - Cobra Starship’s new single Good Girls Go Bad featuring Gossip Girl Leighton Meester premiered on Ryan Seacrest’s Morning Show on KIIS FM Friday morning, May 8.
The song was co-written by American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi.
Cobra Starship is a pop punk band created by former Midtown bassist/lead vocalist Gabe Saporta. Good Girls Go Bad will feature on their new album expected to drop in the summer.
Both the song and Meester’s vocals are impressive and the single is expected to be a big hit.
Meester recently entered into record deal with Universal Republic Records. The album features Miami indie pop group Awesome New Republic.
“I’m thrilled to be welcomed into the Universal Republic fold,” says Leighton.
“Their reputation for nurturing artists combined with a willingness to break new ground makes it the ultimate environment for me to enjoy making music and explore my own creative boundaries. I look forward to a great working relationship.”
