May 19, 2009, (Sawf News) - Rising country music star, Taylor Swift, has won four nominations for the eighth annual CMT Music Awards to be held at Nashville's Sommet Center on June 16.
Taylor, 20, has won nominations for:
Video of the Year - "Love Story"
Female Video of the Year- "Love Story"
Performance of the Year- Taylor Swift/Def Leppard, "Photograph"
Wide Open Country Video of the Year Taylor Swift/Def Leppard, "Photograph"
The final list of nominees, based on 2.5 million votes, was announced today by Kellie Pickler and CMT's Lance Smith during the 2009 CMT Music Awards Nomination Special.
The Sugarland duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush led the pack with five nominations and heartthrob Brad Paisley impressed with four.
Fans can go online now and vote until June 15 to pick their favorites.
Those performing at the event include Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland and Def Leppard.
Swift has won at the annual awards event for the past two consecutive years. Her Tim McGraw music video was named Breakthrough Video of the Year in 2007 and her Our Song music video won Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year in 2008.
