June 10, 2009, (Sawf News) - AllGood Entertainment, producers of an upcoming Jackson family concert, has sued Michael Jackson for reneging on a promise not to do any concert on his own before the family concert.
AllGood contends that Michael tie-up with AEG for 50 concerts at O2 Arena in London contravenes his earlier agreement between them and Michael’s manager.
In a $20 million Federal lawsuit the producers allege that Michael and his manager, Frank Dileo, "secretly teamed up with AEG" despite knowing that Michael was committed to doing the family concert first, reports TMZ.
AllGood wants the London concerts, scheduled to start on July 13, to be called off.
Michael claims that he never signed an agreement with AllGood, who in turn counter that the agreement was signed by Michael’s manager and is legally binding on Michael.
Meanwhile, Michael Jackson appeared to be in good cheer yesterday, uncharacteristically interacting with the paparazzi.
Asked how he was doing, Michael responded, “Great!”
