Eva Green in Kingdom of Heaven (2005)

Page Six has reported that the French actress Eva Green has been selected by Sony Pictures to be the new Bond Girl. Eva, who played the role of Sibylla in Kingdom of Heaven (2005), got the coveted role after a screen test in Prague with british actor Daniel Craig, the new James Bond. The two will star in the forthcoming Bond thriller Casino Royale.

The Bond Girl role was reportedly turned down by Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron and Thandie Newton.

Eva Green in Bernardo Bertolucci's The Dreamer

Eva Green made her feature film debut starring as Isabelle in Bernardo Bertolucci's The Dreamer, a steamy film in which the actress appeared in the nude.

Born in Paris, Eva spent three years at the Eva St Paul School before attending a London workshop at the Webber Douglas acting school.
