The interest shown by Bruce Willis in meeting and getting to know Czech supermodel Petra Nemcova has fueled speculation of a budding romance. According to The New York Post, Bruce had approached Petra's friend Diane Sawyer as well as Petra’s modeling agency to get in touch with the model. Bruce allegedly donated $50,000 at Light of Heart benefit gala for Petra's Tsunami charity in Dec, 2005 to impress the Czech beauty. After the show Petra and Bruce Willis were seen chatting and have apparently stayed in touch since then.

Page Six has now reported that Nemcova, speaking about Bruce, had told her pals: "He's been really sweet to me, but I wouldn't call it dating." On the other hand Willis has told his pals the two are dating!

Petra, 27, is a Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model and has appeared on many fashion spreads. She has also modeled for Victoria's Secret and appeared in magazines such as Marie Claire and Vogue.

Petra is also a Tsunami survivor who lost her British photographer boyfriend Simon Atlee to the big wave. The couple was in Phuket, Thailand, at the time of the Tsunami. The waves dragged them out of their bungalow. Eight hours later Petra was found badly injured clinging to a tree.

Bruce Willis was formerly married to actress and producer Demi Moore (GI Jane). The two separated in 2000.

Bruce Willis is currently in NY for the premier of his new film, '16 Blocks'. He plays the role of a NYPD detective who is assigned the task of taking a petty criminal, played by Mos Def, from the lock up to the courthouse, 16 blocks away to testify before a grand jury. A 15 minute ride becomes a tense struggle between life and death for the two men - a struggle in which they change and change each other.
