Announcing the partnership on Tuesday, CEO of Coty Bernd Beetz said in a statement, "We are delighted to collaborate with Nautica and spokesmodel Katherine Heigl to introduce the new women's fragrance.
"Katherine is beautiful, graceful and an inspiring actress who best personifies the values of the Nautica brand."
"I am thrilled to work with Coty and Nautica on this new fragrance campaign," Heigl said in a statement. "Partnering with these two highly successful companies makes this a very exciting and rewarding experience for me."
Golden Globe-nominated actress Katherine Heigl, who plays intern Dr. Isobel "Izzie" Stevens on ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy, had recently threatened to walk out of the show on account of salary dispute. The matter was, however, resolved though not entirely to Heigl's satisfaction.
