15 June 2007 (Sawf News) - Just after collecting an award for Glamour’s Woman of the Year, the newly blonde Beckham girl launched her designer label “dvb, denim, and sunglasses” at Saks Fifth Avenue. The fashion icon, wore, in fact, three different ensembles in one day to promote her new brand: a sundress, sporty casuals and an LBD.
The princess of posh at the world’s poshest department store? It doesn’t get much better. Upon the singer’s arrival in the New York chain, fans went berserk, clapping their hands, yelling and attempting to take photographs with their mobile phones. In fact, the chaos extended to the press which crowded near the red carpet, which was custom-made for Victoria courtesy of Saks. Victoria posed with some of her fans as well as a pair of her designer denims.

The British bombshell, seen here in her second outfit, wore a low-cut silver tank top with oh-so-tight white pants and her trademark high heels. While we think it’s an improvement from her showing at the MTV Movie Awards, the metallic shirt makes us want to reach for some shades. Not so she can’t recognize us, but so we can see.
The scene at Four Seasons restaurant was more personal. Beckham rocked a cocktail dress that set off the occasion as well as her cropped blond hair. The dinner, which was a tribute to the star with Saks president Steve Sadove, allowed Beckham to wow editors with her sharp wit. Just before the meal was served, she said, “I had a wonderful day today.” “I know all of you want to eat- including myself,” “I hate to ruin the rumors.”
