18 September 2007 (Sawf News) - Which Hollywood actress is tall, has an A-list husband and a beautiful daughter? If you guessed Katie Holmes, guess again. It's Jennifer Garner.
The glamorous brunette was at the premiere of her latest film, The Kingdom at Mann's Village Theater in Los Angeles, California on September 17th. The film also stars Jamie Foxx and Chris Cooper in lead roles and is about a team of agents headed for Saudi Arabia to locate a terrorist.
Garner first made waves on the small screen in her role as CIA agent Sydney Bristow on the series 'Alias', for which she won a Golden Globe. She then starred on the big screen flicks Daredevil and Elektra. She debuts on Broadway next month in the revival of Cyrano de Bergerac, co-starring Kevin Kline.
Post a marriage to Scott Foley and a relationship with Michael Vartan, Jen married Ben Affleck, her former co-star from Daredevil. Ben was previously engaged to Jennifer Lopez but it ended abruptly.
East Meets West
Jennifer is lucky. Few actresses are as versatile as her on the red carpet. High hemlines or low, hair down or pulled back, she can do it all gracefully. She can also perform her own stunts. Another skill she has is carrying off unusual designs by world-class couturiers.
Seen in this recent photograph, Jen makes a showstopping entrance for her film premiere in a sleeveless scarlet Valentino gown. What makes the dress so amazing is the superior cut: the fabric draped over the side and cascading to the floor, much like a traditional Indian sari delivered in a deep shade of red. Throw in the mehendi tattoos and some heavy gold jewelry, and she'd make the perfect bride!
As we all know, motherhood is well and good but in Tinseltown keeping your hotness intact is crucial to getting parts. Judging from her last couple of red carpet pix, Jen's got nothing to fret about!
The Kingdom will release in theaters on September 28th nationwide.
