January 09, 2009, (Sawf News) - Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt walked the red carpet at the 14th Annual Critics' Choice Awards 2009, Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, on Thursday, January 8.
The couple, who skipped the People's Choice Awards on Wednesday, was in PDA mode as they posed for the cameras walking the red carpet.
Jolie looked very graceful in a white Max Azria Grecian gown with high riding side slits. She wore matching accessories - Stuart Weitzman peeptoe pumps, pearl button earrings and a matching ring on her left hand middle finger; and a Herve Leger by Max Azria clutch.

Jolie's boney face was accentuated by her pulled back sleek high ponytail. Her skin was glowing through her light makeup.

A dapper looking Pitt coordinated his outfit with Jolie's, wearing a white dress shirt under his three piece suit.
Jolie was a contender for the Best Actress award for her role as a marginalized mother who loses her child to kidnapping and corruption in the Clint Eastwood directed film, Changeling. She was pitched against Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married), Meryl Streep (Doubt), Kate Beckinsale (Nothing But the Truth), Cate Blanchett (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) and Melissa Leo (Frozen River).
Anne Hathaway and Meryl Streep were declared joint winners.
Pitt was a contender for the Best Actor award for his role as the reverse aging Benjamin Button in the David Fincher directed film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. He was competing against Sean Penn (Milk), Clint Eastwood (Gran Torino), Richard Jenkins (The Visitor), Frank Langella (Frost/Nixon) and Mickey Rourke (The Wrestler).
Sean Penn walked away with the award.
