The photo by Mert & Marcus features Holmes, 30, dressed in one of the Miuccia Pradaís graffiti-spattered day dresses standing against a blazing sky. The look was inspired by the films of Italian film director Federico Fellini.
Miu Miu in a statement explain that Katie "portrays a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality."
In late November 2008, it was confirmed that Katie Holmes is the new face of the Spring '09 campaign for the high-end fashion line Miu Miu.
