January 29, 2009, (Sawf News) - Not content with the dream run of her sophomore album, Fearless, which has topped charts for 8 weeks, Taylor Swift will launch a line of affordable sundresses on February 1.
The 19-year-old country crooner has teamed up with Jones Apparel Group's L.E.I. brand for the range called, L.E.I. Sundresses by Taylor Swift, to be retailed exclusively through Wal-Mart, and will be the face of its spring and fall ad campaign.
Taylor had starred in L.E.I. denim campaign last year.
The range will comprise of lightweight jersey dresses in bold colors and girly prints for just $14 and will include a tie-back dress, printed tie-back dress and printed tier dress. Two more dresses will be added in March.
"I love dresses," Taylor tells People. "And I have always had this dream to make an affordable sundress line."
"To have cute dresses under $20 is something I am really proud of," adds the cost conscious country crooner who is offering $20 tickets for her upcoming tour at all locations..
Swift plans to wear the dresses throughout the spring and summer, and on her first big U.S. headlining tour, which starts in April.
