Aniston, accompanied by boyfriend John Mayer, did not walk the red carpet, choosing to enter through a back door just as the event was about to start.
The 41-year-old actress flaunted a well toned figure in her form revealing silver column dress. She accessorized with Jimmy Choo satin heels, Fred Leighton jewels - a chunky ring on her left hand index finger and earrings that sparkled through her face framing hair.
Making a departure from her signature middle parting, she chose to style her two tone hair with a braid along the hairline and a side parting. Her pink glossy lip color, pink blush, pearl eye shadow with lots of mascara was perfect enhancement for her sparkling dress.
Aniston and Jack Black presented the Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Best Short Film.
Having missed the red carpet, Aniston readily posed for the press backstage along with the award winner.
Something about the evening made Aniston, who sat close to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and came within yards of them while on stage, very happy, and we are thinking the presence of John Mayer by her side must have been a factor.
