May 05, 2009, (Sawf News) - Blake Lively tormented with her looks and curves at the annual Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum gala in New York on Monday, May 4.

The leggy beauty walked the red carpet at the “Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” themed event in a teal Versace gown. The one sleeve halter chiffon gown had a plunging V neckline and a high riding slit on the left leg.

The 21-year-old Gossip star accessorized with crystal laden golden Versace sandals, a Lorraine Schwartz ring each in both her hands and a VBH clutch.

Her blond hair was styled in a sleek pony tail. She wore cat-eye liner with sweeps of mascara on the lashes and pale pink lip color.

Other celebrities at the event included Rihanna, Jessica Alba, Madonna, Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway, Eva Longoria with husband Tony Parker, Kate Beckinsale, Kate Moss, Jessica Biel with Justin Timberlake, Victoria Beckham and Leighton Meester.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the world's largest and most important art museums, located on the eastern edge of Central Park in Manhattan, New York.

Its Costume Institute contains more than 80,000 costumes and accessories. Due to the fragile nature of the items in the collection, the Costume Institute does not maintain a permanent installation. Instead, every year it holds two separate shows in the Met's galleries using costumes from its collection, with each show centering on a specific designer or theme.
