London, Oct 21: The estranged wife of pop legend Sir Paul McCartney had reportedly threatened the former Beatle earlier that she would “make his life hell” if he refused to pay 100 million pounds to buy her silence.
Heather Mills had reportedly offered to settle the divorce out of court, about six weeks before her shock allegations were leaked this week.
A source claims that the ex- model had offered her silence in return for a huge slice of McCartney’s estimated 1 billion pounds fortune.
Sir Paul turned her down on the spot, which made Heather furious.
“Heather screamed at Paul. ‘Give me 100 million pounds or I’ll make your life hell’. He told her, ‘No chance’,” the Sun quoted a source as saying.
It has also been revealed that Heather has taped evidence to back up her claims that the former Beatle was physically aggressive towards her.
“Heather has got independent corroborating evidence for what she has claimed. In some cases, this is in the form of witnesses. She has other corroborating evidence, but I’m not sure what it is,” her spokesman said.
A source close to Heather has revealed that she is in desperate need for money and had to dig into her savings as McCartney is providing money only for their daughter Beatrice’s needs. (ANI)
