London, Oct 26: Though Sir Paul McCartney’s divorce battle may have become one of the most controversial cases in the history of showbiz, yet the singer is hoping for a “happy resolution” to his divorce from Heather Mills for the sake of their daughter.
Sir Paul said that he was keeping his “fingers crossed” that all would go well.
“It’s a very difficult time for me. But with the support of my friends and family, I’m managing to get through.
I’m just hoping for a happy resolution, particularly for the sake of our beautiful daughter, Beatrice, and my other children. Fingers crossed,” he was quoted by the Sun, as saying.
Earlier, in leaked divorce papers Heather had claimed that he mistreated her and Sir Paul’s lawyers insisted he would “vigorously” defend himself against the allegations.
The star also spoke of the emotion behind his classical CD, Ecce Cor Meum (Behold My Heart), that he was writing in 1998 when he lost first wife Linda. He said “When she died, the piece stopped.” (ANI)
