London, Nov 25: Popstar Michael Jackson has been glued to ITV’s reality series I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here while in London, and has sent a message of support to his pal David Gest, who is roughing it out in the Australian jungle.
The King of Pop is also tipping his friend to be crowned King of the Jungle.
The celebrities were rewarded for retrieving the Celebrity Chest with written messages from home. While most received letters from their partners or children, David's came from Jackson's brother Tito and Fifties screen siren Jane Russell.
"Michael was watching you on TV in London recently and told me, 'That man never changes but I wish him all the best and would love to see him win the show as he has come a long way in that jungle. Rather him than me. Ha ha ha," the Daily Mail quoted Tito as writing.
Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas is also following David's progress.
"I wish you all the best and know you are a true survivor and know you will see it to the end because you are My David. I met up with Anne and Kirk Douglas and they were both asking about you and asking how you were doing," Jane Russell wrote: Ex-Busted star Matt Willis was impressed.
"David's letter was amazing. He's got it from Hollywood stars and the guy from the Jackson 5 telling him that his brother Michael is watching!
They're pretty massive people to be sending a letter to their friend in the jungle. I think he was happy," he said. (ANI)
