Macpherson / Splash NewsWashington, Dec 8(ANI): Renee recently has laughed off persistent rumors of being romantically linked with Irish singer Damien Rice and Jack White of The Black Stripes.
The Oscar-winner insists she has been single since the demise of her short-lived marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney last year (05), and that Rice is just a friend.
“I like Damien so much. He’s one of my favorite singers, such a neat guy. But he is not my boyfriend," Justjared.com quoted her, as saying.
As for Jack, she said, "we didn’t date during Cold Mountain, as was reported. In fact, having only a scene or two together, we barely spoke and didn’t get in touch again until six months later. People said it was this on-again, off-again relationship, but I’ve never had one of those. We were just good about protecting our privacy.”
Meanwhile, Renee was seen wearing an interestingly cut black top with really handy pockets at the Miss Potter Tea Party and Beatrix Potter Gallery Launch in NYC earlier.
And she is heard crediting her svelte figure to the lack of a proper lunch break while she is shooting movies.(ANI)
