“He is a very nice guy and I've talked to him a few times, but we are very much not together," Carrie was quoted by tennessean.com as saying.
Carrie was seen to hug Tony on the field on Christmas Day at Texas Stadium before the Cowboys' game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys went on to receive a 23-7 thrashing prompting NBC commentators Al Michaels and John Madden to openly wonder if Carrie had been too much of a distraction for Tony!
Later, Tony, 26, confirmed Carrie and he were an item in an interview with Brian Nielsen, Sports Editor, of Journal Gazette/Times-Courier, a local newspaper in Charleston, Ill, where Tony played college football.
Refuting the story Carrie said, "The first time I ever met him was on Christmas, right there on the field. Everybody was like, 'Ooh, they are together.' And then I was blamed for Dallas not winning that game. . . .”
Regarding Tony's confirmation to the Illinois newspaper, Carrie said, "That was one person from one local newspaper that said that, so whether or not . . ."
Carrie is currently shooting her new music video for the single 'Wasted' in Tampa, Florida. The single is part of her 5x Platinum selling first album 'Some Hearts' which has now become the best-selling, single-disc country album by a solo female in the new millennium.
A native of eastern Oklahoma, Carrie won Favorite Female Singer and Favorite Country Song (Before He Cheats) during the People's Choice Awards 2007.

I think that is sad that they are not a couple. I think they would make a cute perfect couple. She needs to rethink her decision and maybe start dating him.

I think Carrie Underwood is just the greatest singer . We do not miss Faith Hill for not coming to the awards show We have a replacement.
