New York, Jan 25: Former 'Playboy' playmate Anna Nicole Smith defied a court order to conduct the paternity test of her baby, Dannielynn, on Tuesday - the deadline for carrying out the DNA test.

Smith's ex-boyfriend, photographer Larry Birkhead, claims to be her baby's dad, but she insists that her lawyer Howard K. Stern is the father of the child, born in September in Nassau, Bahamas.

Birkhead's lawyer, Debra Opri, revealed that the buxom blonde model had manifested her intention of not letting the test of her baby's DNA samples go ahead.

"She used the F-word and she told Larry she's not going to do it. She said she has no intention of obeying this judge's order," the New York Daily News quoted her as saying.

Opri also said that she would seek the order of arrest against Smith on the charges of contempt of court.

If Opri succeeds in her move, Smith who now lives in Bahamas may be arrested when she re-enters the US.

"She'll pay the piper sooner or later," she said.

Opri said that on the eve of the DNA deadline, her client instant-messaged Smith urging her to "do the right thing", but she backfired by saying "u wish" and "in your dreams".

As per Judge Robert Schneider's order both Smith and the baby had to submit saliva samples to lab techs hired by Birkhead by Jan. 23.

When the experts went to Nassau to collect the mouth swabs, she didn't show up at the location.

Smith's lawyer, Ron Rale, went to court in Los Angeles on Tuesday in a last-minute bid to have Schneider's DNA order declared invalid in the Bahamas. (ANI)
