© AFP/KABCWashington, Feb 18: Britney Spears fans who want to get their hands on the hair that the singer shed when she decided to go bald need only to go as far as eBay.
A source from Esther's Haircutting Studio confirmed to Access Hollywood that the salon was planning to sell Britney’s lost locks on the online auction website.
The source also revealed that owner Esther had also said that a portion of the hair collected from the crop would be going straight to the Britney Spears Foundation, reports Access Hollywood.
However, shaving her locks was not the only thing that the singer did on Friday, Nov 16, for she also got herself a tattoo.
After the salon, she headed for the Body and Soul Tattoo parlor in the Sherman Oaks area a few hours later where she got a pair of ‘cute little lips” tattooed on her wrist.
Spears also got a tattoo on her neck, as well as a piercing in her belly.
The singer’s manager in the meanwhile has called her most recent behavior a ‘tragic thing’, and hopes that it will prove to be ‘therapeutic’ for her.
"Britney has been through a tragic thing that hopefully will never happen again, shaving her hair was a sort of therapeutic thing for her," Spears’ manager Larry Rudolph said.
"Britney knows that she needs help and is already going through counseling, she knows what needs to be done and is slowly re-building herself step by step," he added. (ANI)
