February 21, 2007 (Sawf News) – After leaving the not-so-promising Promises rehab facility in L.A., Britney Spears headed for a meeting with lawyer Blair Berk.
Berk handles both civil and criminal matters and represented Mel Gibson in his DUI case as well as Reese Witherspoon against the paparazzi. His clients, amongst others, include Lindsay Lohan, Halle Berry and Tracey Morgan.
It is still unknown why the newly bald Spears visited Berk, but it is likely that the matter did not involve her divorce from Kevin Federline. Her divorce proceedings are being handled by Laura Wesser.
A blonde-wigged Spears attended the meeting this morning and it is thought that paparazzi harassment might be her motivation for seeking legal advice.

E! Online, quoting sources, reports that Britney was so incensed when paparazzi photos of her taking a smoking break within the confines of the treatment center surfaced on the Internet Tuesday afternoon that she decided to leave Promises and mount a legal challenge to the intrusion.
Britney's family is understandably aghast at her decision to leave reahab for the second time within a week.
"Everyone in the family is crying and beside themselves," a close family friend tells E! Online's Marc Malkin. "To say that the family is devastated is beyond an understatement. Nobody knows what to do."
Britney has lately been avoiding contact with friends and family by frequently changing her cell phone number.
"She was cutting people off left and right, changing her cell numbers weekly," a family friend says.
