21 Feb 2007 (Sawf News) - Britney Spears estranged husband Kevin Federline has requested an emergency hearing on Thursday to discuss his child custody arrangement with estranged wife Britney Spears, reports TMZ.
Tentatively only K-Fed and his attorney are scheduled to appear before the judge. However, according to a court spokesperson, "anything is possible."
It is likely that Britney's increasingly erratic behavior has Federline concerned to an extent where he feels their current joint custody arrangement is inadequate.
Britney Spears filed for divorce from Federline on November 7, 2006 citing irreconcilable differences. In their separate divorce filings Spears and Federline have both sought physical and legal custody of their two - children 17-month old Sean Preston and 7-month-old Jayden James.
Following their separation the two amicably drew up a temporary one month custody agreement for their two infant sons during the month of January.
Under the agreement the two parents have joint legal custody of the two children. However, physical custody rests largely with Britney.
Federline is allowed to visit the children from noon to 4:00 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Spears' residence. During the visitation, he has unfettered rights to be with the children, although Britney may also be physically present.
The agreement, which has since been extended to cover the month of February, allows for Britney's representative to fill in for Britney.
