© AFP/Getty Images/File Evan Agostini23 February 2007 (Sawf News) - Jennifer Lopez, whose next album Como Ama Una Mujer' comes out at the end of March, will thrill American Idol fans with a performance on April 11, it was announced during Thursday's elimination show.
J.Lo will follow in the footsteps of Prince, Mary J. Blige and Shakira, who have all taken to the 'American Idol' stage.
Gwen Stefani will make an appearance on March 28.
In addition to Lopez and Stefani, Jon Bon Jovi, Martina McBride, Diana Ross, Barry Gibb and '60s stars Lulu and Peter Noone from Herman's Hermits (for a British Invasion night) will all guest on the FOX hit.
During the show last night four contestants, Paul Kim, Amy Krebs, Nicole Tranquillo and Rudy Cardenas failed to get adequate viewer support and were dropped, reducing the number of contestants in the field from 24 to 20.
