The former Spice girl, 32, provides the shoulder for Katie to cry on.
"Katie has been crying over the phone," an insider tells Us Weekly. "She's frustrated. Tom is denying her every single thing."
The insider adds: "Once, Katie and Victoria talked on the phone for four hours."
Victoria has first hand experience of Cruise’s domineering nature. A source close to Cruise admits the Scientology evangelist has been inexorable in seeking to convert Victoria and David to his faith.
"Victoria is sick and tired of Tom being on her back about Scientology," says the source. "Victoria is an old-fashioned British woman who believes in God. She finds it quite rude that Tom is bugging her so much. Not too long ago, Tom left 18 messages in one hour to get them to join the church."
However, Victoria has the firmness to stand up to Tom's badgering.
"When she says no, she means no," says the source.
Cruise's rep refutes the contentions of the Us source, "This is completely false. Tom does not and never has encouraged anyone to adopt Scientology."

I think this article is full of crap. Tom Cruise is a really sane guy. You should just read what other celebs say about him: Joss Stone, Penelope Cruz, Davide Beckham, etc. News papers make him look like a complete alien or wierd person. He is really sane and caring. The press has been relentless in as the president in making unfounded claims.
