23 March 2007 (Sawf News) - Rapper Eminem has filed a motion to stop his ex-wife, Kim Mathers, from trashing him in public forums in a manner that could harm their 11-year-old daughter, Hailie Jade Mathers.
The Grammy and Academy Award Winning rapper, record producer, and actor from Detroit, Michigan, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, is scheduled to appear in Macomb Circuit Court on Monday, reports Deteroit News
In a Feb. 16 appearance on WKQI-FM's (95.5) "Mojo in the Morning" Kim, who was twice married to Eminem and has a love and hate relationship with him, made vitriolic comments against the rapper such as:
"I can't stand him. He's an absolutely horrible person, and he gets worse every day. I vomit in my mouth whenever I'm around him or I hear his name."
"He's not very well-endowed. If you're going to have sex with Marshall, make sure you have a little blue pill, because otherwise it does not work."
In his petition, Eminem who is known to dote on daughter Hailie says, "It is simply impossible for her to be shielded from the kind of media campaign currently being waged by (Kim) against (Eminem).
For girls in the 11 to 14 age range, personal embarrassment is one of their most powerful and painful emotions. If by some chance the child missed a particularly pungent insult about her father by her mother, it is all but certain that her friends and her friends' parents are aware of it and that it will be shared with her."
Eminem, 33, and Kim Mathers, 31, first began dating 17 years ago, and married in 1999, but the marriage was subsequently dissolved in 2001.
They fought an ugly custody battle over Hailie following the first divorce, but slowly grew closer starting in late 2004, leading up to their second marriage January 14, 2006 in Michigan..
However, less than 11 weeks after remarrying, in early April 2005 the couple filed for divorce at the Macomb County office.
