Co-produced by husband, Marc Anthony, this is her first album sung solely in Spanish.
The Latin sensation, who was dissuaded from singing in Spanish by former Sony executive Tommy Mottola when she embarked on her career, is elated to return to her roots.
"I thought that my career was going to be in Spanish music, honestly," Lopez said. "My life took a different turn, which was great for me. But my heart was always kind of on the Spanish side."
Lopez, who was born and brought up in the US, learnt Spanish after she became an adult.

I had the greatest surprise from my fiancée yesterday afternoon; he invited me to the Jennifer Lopez presentation of her new album como se ama a una mujer at this great place in Time Square called Spotlight Live.
So you can imagine my excitement, so I did the best I could to look like a star and we went to party with the stars, Mark Anthony is gorgeous by the way and of course my fiancée could not take his eyes off J.Lo's waist and some other parts… of course him being a tequila fan noticed a bottle of Casa Noble on their table, did not know they drank tequila...
We had the greatest time and they were wonderful. Believe me my fiancé looked like Mark Anthony for doing this but I am sure he did not see me like J.Lo although I wish...
We ended up staying very late and very drunk from all the cocktails and stars...
