© AFP/Getty Images Bryan BedderWashington, April 5 (ANI): The latest buzz doing the rounds is that supermodel Naomi Campbell is dating Scottish actor and singer Gerard Butler.
The hot-headed British supermodel was recently spotted with the 300 star at the Sony Ericsson Open tennis match in Miami, and later met the actor in New York.
"She came out of the hotel first and got into a waiting SUV.Then a few minutes later, Gerard came out and got into the vehicle," an eyewitness told canada.com.
And when they arrived back, they got out of either side of the vehicle and went into the hotel separately," the eyewitness added.
Meanwhile Campbell is all set to design her own range of lingerie like fellow model Kate Moss.
Campbell, who recently completed a week's community service in New York for assaulting her assistant, is said to be teaming up with budding fashion designer Christopher Kane to put the collection together. (ANI)

I sincerely hope not though she is more beautiful and in a way would be better for him than his previous girlfriend. The woman he was dating before was with him on account of his fame and money.
Although I'm sure Naomi would date him on account of liking him and that their age factor is quite good as they have only one year of difference between them, I don't think they have the personalities to make a relationship work. She is very volatile and he is more laid-back and in the long run, once the sexual attraction will dim, she might become irritated with him as he has said in several interviews that he prefers to not say a word rather than get into an argument. Naomi seems to prefer outspoken men more like Robert De Niro and Flavio Briattore.
I don't think Gerry Butler prefers black women as such. I think he is presently curious about them but he has dated a lot of beautiful white women, some more beautiful than the two recent black women he has dated, Bianca Christians and Naomi Campbell.
If he is dating black women in the hope of finding a woman with a strong personality as he has said he loves women with strong personality and a good sense of humor, he may come to realize that they are very much like white women: there are some with strong personalities and others who lack the personality.
Sadly if he limits himself to dating only black women, he might not see the love of his life pass him by if she happens to be Caucasian, with red or blond hair. One piece of advice to him: black women are not better than white women and neither are white women better than black ones.
Some advice to Mr. Butler: wear a shield and a chastity belt at all times if you're not dating her seriously! We don't want you getting hurt and I don't think Naomi will ever change character wise! If needs be, why don't you have a talk with Flavio Briattore who related his own bad experiences with Naomi when they were living together in one Hello Magazines issues a while back. She nearly killed him when she threw something at him.
Plus, Gerry should remember that Naomi has done drugs and he himself has mentioned that he had a hard time handling his addictions. He cannot even stop smoking though he has successfully stopped drinking. I don't think he wants to get tempted into doing drugs and I doubt Naomi will ever completely rid herself of her anger and drug problems.
Even if things are presently good in the bedroom, Gerry, she's not worth it!
What happened to your other hookup, Rosario Dawson? You too made such a nice couple at your premiere. She is better grounded, nicer and you'd really make a great couple. Leave Naomi to somebody like Terrence Howard!

I cant believe the comments sent in by Nancy. Why does one have to be so vindictively negative about other people. With a name and comments like yours I can only imagine you being caucasian. No matter how much you tried to sugar coat your opinion I could still sense some racist undertone typical of white women towards black women. Its about high time people stopped judging Naomi. You dont know her background and I think the only thing that may set her apart from other troubled people in the world is that she is the most famous model in the world. hence every move- mistake for that matter-she makes will be in the public eye. Remember this was someone who was spotted at the age of 15 and suddenly propelled to stardom. Please give Naomi a break her only sin is being BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL.

I used to be a fan of Gerry Butler. Now I have lost ALL respect for him. Dating..sleeping with Naomi Campbell? Is he crazy? Is he trying to ruin his reputation? What women would even want to touch him after he has had sex with Naomi?
She is violent...a liar.....arrogant....loose in the morals department.....a pretty face is not enough to get by in my books.....you have to possess character...integrity....I repeat ..has Gerry Butler been fooling us all? Anyone who would date Naomi Campbell has got to be lacking in the brains catagory. Maybe Gerry HAS taken leave of his senses with the help of Naomi and her drug habit....perhaps he has too much cocaine up his nose..it is blocking his eye site...taste in women....and higher brain functions..if he possesses a brain. Gerard Butler & Naomi? Nah, Scorpio and Gemini. Biggest mistake in the zodiac. Funny, you'd think Naomi had learnt her lesson with Scorpios after the run-ins she's had .......... Rubbish you think?...... Believe me. I'm Scorpio, I know - from a very personal point of view. Well, it's all just rumor though isn't it? It's like looking at an ant working away and trying to figure out what the ant is thinking. No one knows what the ant is thinking, what he does in his anthill, or what his future is. He's busy working, and it's a usless exercise to waste energy trying to guess the truth. Besides, what if they are just in there playing tiddly winks?
