London, Apr 16 (ANI): Woolworths, the company that had already planned to produce a range of souvenirs in expectation of a marriage between Britain's Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton, were forced to scrap their plans when the 24-year old royal broke off the relationship.
Woolworths bosses had planned a range of souvenirs that included mugs, tea towels and plates, as well as a limited edition mobile phone and mouse mat in anticipation of a Royal wedding.
However, a spokeswoman confirmed that designs for the memorabilia had been shelved after the news that the couple had broken off their four year relationship.
"Our designs will be shelved," the Mirror quoted the spokeswoman, as saying.
The couple decided to call it quits after realizing that they wanted different things. While Middleton was looking for more commitment from her beau, William on the other hand, didn't want to settle down at the age of 24. (ANI
