Washington, April 17 (ANI): Jennifer Lopez and husband Mark Anthony’s rage over heroin scandal report is turning legal now.

The couple, who has hit out at claims that they were involved in a heroin scandal, are now all set to take the matter to the court, reports TMZ.

Both J.Lo and Marc will file a number of lawsuits against the National Enquirer in the United Kingdom, claiming that any reports connecting them to a drug scandal are rubbish.

The Latino beauty and her singer husband are hopeful that the celeb friendly defamation laws in the U.K. will result in a more strict punishment than they might find in the US.

The rumors of the couple’s alleged role in a drug scandal gained pace after an article, accusing both Lopez and Anthony of being "caught up in a heroin scandal”, appeared in the March, 2007 issue of the British and Irish editions of the National Enquirer.

The Enquirer also published a photo of Anthony standing with photographer Michael Star, who is facing heroin and child pornography charges in the United States.

The couple is reportedly demanding "a six figure settlement," an apology and a retraction. (ANI)
