Paris Hilton hits back!
Posted on Monday, May 07, 2007 (EST)
Saying "I don't deserve this" the socialite has fired her publicist and in an interview to Harper's Bazaar blamed her legal travails on a proclivity of the cops to hit on her. Additionally, the Hiltons are pulling strings to keep Paris out of jail and make some money through exclusive interviews.

07 May 2007 (Sawf News) - Paris Hilton thrives on the outrageous, wittingly or unwittingly.

A day after being sentenced to 45 days in prison for violating her parole by driving on a suspended license Paris termed the sentence "both cruel and unwarranted."

She told media persons, "I told the truth yesterday. I feel that I was treated unfairly."

"I don't deserve this," she summarized.

The "Simple Life" star has fired her "hard working" publicist, as NY Post calls Elliot Mintz, because the judge at her parole violation hearing refused to buy her contention that he was responsible for the violation because he misinformed her that she could drive on work despite the suspended license.

In an email to TMZ, Mintz gallantly says, "I told her that I assume personal responsibility for my part in this matter. ... Due to this misunderstanding, I am no longer representing Paris," Mintz said in a statement released yesterday.

The socialite is now suggesting that the cops catch her for breaking the law not because she is breaking the law but because she is rich and famous and they want to hit on her.

"I think I get in more trouble just because of who I am," she told Harper's Bazaar for their next issue hitting newsstands May 22.

"The cops do it all the time," she says. "They'll just pull me over to hit on me. It's really annoying. They're like, 'What's your phone number? Want to go to dinner?

According to the New York Daily News her parents, Kathy and Rick Hilton, are pulling strings to keep the 26-year-old multimillion heiress out of the Century Regional Detention Facility for women in Lynwood, Calif., friends said.

"Kathy and Rick are exploring ways to try to get her sentence reduced," a source said. "That includes approaching politicians, including Gov. [Arnold] Schwarzenegger."

However, even as they do that they are exploring how they could add to their millions if Paris does go to jail.

According to a Daily News source, Kathy Hilton has been reaching out to NBC and TV celebrity shows, pitching an exclusive interview with Paris and her.

"They're not so rich that they can ignore the money that could be made off an interview. In fact, I could see them spinning it off into a whole new reality show," says the source.
