© AFP/File Torsten BlackwoodWashington, May 11 (ANI): Hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, may get away with serving just three weeks in the LA prison since the facility is overcrowded.
This was revealed in a statement released by Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The socialite, who faces 45 days in prison for driving on a suspended license, has chances of escaping the jail sentence the Michelle Rodriguez way, reports People.
Rodriguez was sentenced to jail for a similar offense, but she was released from the same LA facility after two hours since it was flooded with inmates.
Sheriff's department spokesman Steve Whitmore said that she may have to spend time in the prison for three weeks or so.
He added that the exact time will be decided only if Hilton is booked at the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, and that the sentence is also expected to be reduced, if she is on her best of behavior.
The Simple Life star will begin her sentence on June 5 and if she doesn’t turn up at the prison facility, her jail term will increase to 90 days. (ANI)
