Washington, May 13 (ANI): A witness in the actress Lana Clarkson murder trial has testified that music producer, Phil Spector, who has been accused of murdering the actress, was in a good mood and wasn't drunk on the night of the alleged murder.
Kathy Sullivan, a waitress, told the Los Angeles court that on February 2, 2003, she met up with Spector and visited nightclubs Trader Vic's, Dan Tana's and House Of Blues.
Sullivan added that in House of Blues, the music producer met Clarkson.
The witness confirmed that Spector had navy grogs and daiquiris, but insisted that he wasn't intoxicated.
Sullivan added that the accused was in a good mood and was discussing American Idol and a variety of other topics.
According to the testimony, at 2 am, Spector was annoyed that Clarkson began drinking water and asked her to leave home, if she did not want to stay out any longer.
Later the music producer got his driver to drop the actress at her home, according to Sullivan.
Forty-year-old, Clarkson, was found shot dead in 2003 in Phil Spector's mansion in Alhambra, California. Spector was formally charged with murder in connection with the shooting on September 27, 2004.
However, Spector has maintained that Clarkson committed suicide. (ANI)
